Hello-Hello!!

Let me introduce myself, I’m Badal, Co-Founder of Lunafic. It’s been a long-awaited days for lunafic & teams to release from idea to today’s launch!

I’m here to say one-two words that been bothering me from day one. Every time I watch some AI Startup talk to the public, the premises always the same : Efficiency and Automation. They aren't looking for stories, instead they’re looking for a factory, button that spits out a thousand masterpieces by lunch.

It’s a seductive lie. We’ve been told that "removing the friction" is the goal. But friction is where the heat comes from. Friction is the three hours I spend staring at a blank screen until I realize my protagonist wouldn't actually run away, he’ll stay and burn the house down. When a machine "hallucinates" a plot point because it’s faster than thinking, it isn't helping me write.

It’s helping me vanish.

When I think of future generation... I think about the world they’re going to inherit. I don't want the stories, the art, and the history they see and feel to be a product generated by cold, calculating AI. If we let the machine write the future, we’re leaving behind a legacy carved in digital sand.

AI is a mirror, not a window. If you aren't the one standing in front of it, there's nothing to see but glass.

I sat down with myself last month. I’ve try building a fantasy world (for first time) to understand the beauty of creative writings.

> "If the machine can write a thousand words in ten seconds," I asked to myself, "what am I for?"

At that moment, I carve my selfish idealism: I will not let the machine write the future. I’m the shiny Knight (hahaha) and AI is the squire.

Historically, a squire was indispensable. They sharpened the blades, polished the armor, and kept the horses fed. But a squire never led the charge. The moment you let the machine lead the charge, you aren't a creator anymore. You’re just a prompt-engineer for your own obsolescence.

At Lunafic, I try to build a context-aware engine that remembers my every inch detail of World Bible (that to be honest, better than I do). It’s a squire. It’s there to handle the technical details so I can focus on the soul of the story.

We’ve codified this into our first The Lunafic Covenant : Oath of Creator Sovereignty. It’s the foundation of our code, and personally the name choice is dope :

- The Spark is Human. If the machine suggests a plot twist that changes your character’s fundamental, well it has failed then. We don't optimize for productivity led by AI, we want optimize for *your* intent.
- Context is King. We fight the "hallucination." A machine that forgets your protagonist lost their equipment in Chapter 2 is an idiot. Our engine serves your World Bible as sacred text.
- Legacy Over Layout**.** We value the work as something to be carved, not a dataset to be scrapped.

Lunafic is for the people who still believe in the burn.
