The first two steps decide how your world looks on the shelf and who lives in it.

## Step 1, the basics

- World name. **Needed for release, at least 3 letters.**
- One-line pitch. **Needed for release. It is the reason someone opens your world instead of scrolling past. Write the promise and skip the summary. A winter ball where everyone lies pulls harder than a story about nobility and secrets.**
- Audience. **For her, For him, or For everyone. It sorts shelves and feeds, and it never blocks anyone from entering.**
- Genres and themes. **Pick up to three from 22. Your first pick is the shelf category.**
- Cover. **Needed for release. The editor has a Mobile tab and a Desktop tab, so you can frame the cover for each, and it shows the best size for each.**

## Step 2, the world

This step does not hold fields. Characters and everything deep live in the Wiki, and this step shows how many characters you have and opens the Wiki in place.

To release, your world needs at least one character. Aim for three or more, each with real personality panels, because players meet them in every story.
