> Split your story at any line you sent, and keep both versions.

Every line you send is a save point. If you wonder what would happen with a bolder line, you do not have to lose the story you already have.

## How to branch

Hover your own message in the story and press Branch from this moment. Give the branch a name and press Create branch. The story splits from that line into a new branch.

The original stays exactly as it was, and both versions are yours. Branches appear nested under their chapter in the left column.

## Branches and sessions

A branch lives inside one story. A session in your Library is a whole separate story, started with New session. Use a branch to try one line differently, and a new session to take the whole story another way.
