# Endings, and how a story finishes

> How endings work, what you see, and what makes one happen.

An author can design endings for a Playable World, so reaching the end feels like clearing a game. If a world has endings, you will see them listed on its page and in your story.

## Find the endings list

In the right panel, open This world, then Endings. The dialog shows how many endings you reached out of how many exist. If the world has roles, it also shows the count for your role and for endings that work for any role.

## What you see and what stays hidden

- Endings you reached. **They show their name and how rare they are, Common, Rare or Legendary.**
- Endings you have not found. **They show as sealed silhouettes marked Undiscovered. The conditions and the author hints never show here, so the mystery stays.**

## How an ending happens

Every ending has a minimum number of turns, never lower than 10. After that many turns, the AI reads the conditions the author wrote and decides if your story earned the ending. If it did, the story delivers it. Only one ending can arrive in a single reply.

Your role matters. You can reach the endings written for your role, plus the endings open to any role.

## When you reach one

A card appears with the ending name, its rarity, and the artwork the author added for it. The epilogue written above it is the real finish of your story. The card also asks how the world felt, and you can write a review or keep it to yourself. Keep this story closes the card, and you can keep playing.
