> The release checklist, what happens after you press Release, and how to unpublish, duplicate or reply to reviews.

The last step is the gate. Nothing reaches players until every item on the list is green.

## The checklist

- World name, at least 3 letters.
- A one-line pitch.
- A cover image.
- At least one character in the Wiki.
- At least one rule.
- At least one ready ending.

Each item links to the step that fixes it. The button reads Release to players once everything is done, and it tells you how many items are still needed until then.

## Before you release

The step shows a shelf card preview called How players will meet it. Press Play it yourself first to start a private session in your own world. Players never see that session.

## After you press Release

Lunafic saves your latest changes first, and stops if the save fails. Then the world goes live and an automatic review checks the cover and how detailed the characters are. If the review rejects the world, it leaves the shelf and becomes link only until it is fixed.

If your world is already live, pressing Release again just saves your latest changes.

## Manage a world

Open the Library, then Worlds, then the menu on the world.

- Unpublish. **Takes the world off the shelf. Nobody new finds it, and the players you already have keep their stories.**
- Duplicate world. **Makes a full copy you edit freely, titled with Copy at the end. Pick a Playable copy, which is a second world with its own choices and endings, or a Private copy, which is just for you. The original stays as it is.**
- Delete forever. **For worlds that are not published and that nobody else plays.**

## Reviews and replies

[Players who entered your world can review it.](/docs/review-a-world) You can reply once under each review, up to 500 characters.
