> How to rate a world, add reasons, and how authors reply.

Reviews tell the next player what a world feels like, and they tell the author what works. You can review any world you have played.

## Before you can review

You need to have entered the world first, with at least one story of your own. The review box says so if you have not. Each person writes one review per world, and you can update it later.

## What a review has

- A rating. **From 1 to 5 hearts.**
- Reason chips. **Tap up to six, like Characters feel alive, Endings reward attention, Beautiful writing, I cried, actually, Slow to start, or Wanted more endings.**
- A line of text. **Optional when you pick at least one chip.**

Your review shows a Played badge with the number of stories you took in that world, so readers know you were really there.

## Author replies

The author can reply once under each review, up to 500 characters. One line lands best.

## Reviewing a character

Character pages have their own reviews and chips, like Voice feels real or She carries scenes. Those reviews show how many of your paths met that character.
