> Search inside a chapter, across your whole Story with Cmd+K, and export as novel or fanfiction. Find what you forgot. Your story is yours.

Three chapters ago you named a character. Rhen or Wren? He had a scar and a grudge, and he is about to walk back into the scene. This is why search exists.

## Search everything

Press Cmd+K to search your whole story. Results group into Wiki, Chapters, Plot and Events, so the scar, the grudge and the name are one search away. If the search index is rebuilding, the box says so.

## Search inside a chapter

Press Cmd+Shift+F to search the chapter you are in. Matches highlight where they are, and you jump from match to match.

## Find and replace

Find and replace is in the right panel under Tools, in a Private world and in a Playable World. It works across the whole story, and has modes for Find and Replace, Pattern Replace, Remove Word, Character Rename and Style Normalize.

## Export

Export is in the right panel under Tools in a Private world. It exports the chapter you are in, as a DOCX file or an HTML file, or copies it to your clipboard with formatting. The formatting, speakers, languages and scene breaks come along.

Players do not get Export in a Playable World. Export belongs to the author side.
