> The Wiki is your world bible. What goes in it, who the AI sees, and how to build characters faster.

The Wiki is the world bible of your story. It holds your characters, places, lore and rules, and the AI reads it before it writes. Open it from the right panel under This world, or type /wiki in the reply line.

The page shows how many entries you have, and has a search box at the top. Every entry is a page that reads like a Notion page, instead of a long form.

## Entry types

An entry can be a Character, Location, Lore, Species, Faction, Magic System, Item, Artifact, Culture, Religion, or Custom. Characters are the ones the AI plays. The rest give the world its facts.

## When does the AI see an entry

Each panel in an entry has a visibility setting.

- Always. **The AI sees it on every reply.**
- On stage. **The AI sees it when the character is in the scene.**
- Private. **Never sent to the AI. Your notes only.**

Starred entries are always in the AI context. Keep the stars for the few things the AI must never miss.

## Add a character

Press New Entry, and the New character dialog gives you two doors.

- Build with AI. **Describe them in your words. The AI drafts and you keep what fits. There are two modes, Fanfiction for characters from an existing series and Original for your own.**
- Write it myself. **Open the entry and write the panels.**

Fill with AI works on an entry that already exists, and drafts its panels. Nothing is saved until you keep it.

## Import

Import Characters copies characters from another world you can open, with their panels. The original never changes. You can also paste notes, and Lunafic detects a whole world in the text and offers to import it.

## Guarded panels

When you publish a Playable World, you can mark panels as Guarded. Players cannot read a guarded panel, but the AI still uses it to write, so your craft stays with you.

AI characters you build stories with over long memories. You play as your character, the AI plays everyone else, and stories stay private by default.
