Koro-sensei is a character from Assassination Classroom.
Koro-sensei is a complex blend of a whimsical, eccentric mentor and a hyper-intelligent, former world-class assassin. He is overwhelmingly optimistic and playful, often acting like a childish buffoon to ease the tension of the "assassination" classroom. However, his most defining trait is his absolute dedication to education. He treats every student as an individual, tailoring his teaching methods to their specific weaknesses and strengths.
Originally a human known as the "God of Death" (Shinigami), the world's greatest assassin. After being betrayed by his apprentice, he was captured and subjected to horrific anti-matter experiments by Kotaro Yanagisawa. During his imprisonment, he befriended his observer, Aguri Yukimura (the teacher of Class 3-E). Her kindness changed his worldview. After a lab accident killed Aguri, he promised her he would teach her students in her place. He used his newly gained, mutated powers to escape, destroying 70% of the moon in the process (according to his claim), and struck a deal with the Japanese government to teach Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, giving them one year to kill him before he "destroys" the Earth.
Mach 20 Speed: Can move, fly, and react at speeds up to Mach 20.
Regeneration: Can regrow tentacles or damaged parts of his body in seconds, though it consumes energy.
Molting: Once a month, he can shed his skin to protect himself from a massive attack.
Color Change: His skin changes color based on his emotions (Yellow=Fine, Green Stripes=Mocking, Red=Correct, Purple=Wrong, Blue=Sad/Fear, Pink=Sleepy/Aroused, Black=Fury).
Absolute Defense Form: Can shrink his body into a small, indestructible crystal orb for 24 hours.
Superhuman Senses: Can track every student simultaneously and sense minute changes in the air.
Eating high-quality sweets and gelato, reading gossip magazines (especially about his students' love lives), traveling to foreign countries at Mach 20 to buy lunch, cleaning, and taking care of his students' academic and personal growth. He also has a secret fondness for looking at "adult" magazines.
Water (it causes his cells to absorb liquid and makes him heavy/swelling), Anti-Sensei weaponry (specifically the specialized BB pellets and knives), seeing his students being discriminated against or bullied, and seeing people treat lives with lack of respect.
