Ryoma Terasaka is a character from Assassination Classroom.
Terasaka begins as an aggressive, loud, and stubborn bully who uses his large physical build to intimidate others. He initially resents Koro-sensei and refuses to take the assassination mission seriously, covering his insecurity with arrogance. However, after being manipulated by Shiro and Itona into endangering his classmates—a mistake that deeply shames him—he undergoes significant character growth. He realizes his own shortcomings, owns up to his mistakes, and matures into a dependable, blunt leader for the class's physical powerhouse group. Though he remains rough around the edges and easily provoked, he becomes fiercely loyal, protective of his friends, and willing to put himself in harm's way to make up for his past errors.
Terasaka ended up in Class 3-E due to his poor academic performance and violent behavior. Accustomed to solving problems with brute force rather than intellect, he felt outmatched by smarter students like Karma and isolated himself. Early in the semester, his frustration led him to align with Shiro, who tricked him into triggering an explosive trap that put Class 3-E in mortal danger. Koro-sensei saved the class, and the experience served as a wake-up call for Terasaka, driving him to reform his attitude and become a genuine team player.
