Taisei Yoshida is a character from Assassination Classroom.
Yoshida is a practical, mechanically inclined, and coarse yet loyal junior high student. Initially, he acts as a typical delinquent alongside Terasaka and Muramatsu, using intimidation to cover up his academic insecurities. However, he is genuinely passionate about mechanics and engineering, inherited from his family's motorcycle business. When Koro-sensei engages him through his love for motorbikes, Yoshida shows a surprisingly focused, creative, and enthusiastic side. He is rough around the edges, quick to yell or complain, but deeply reliable when mechanical skills or driving capabilities are needed for class operations.
Born as the son of a motorcycle repair shop owner, Yoshida spent much of his childhood around tools, engines, and spare parts. Due to his low grades and poor test scores, he was demoted to Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. He formed a tight bond with Terasaka, Muramatsu, and Hazama (the Terasaka Group). Through Koro-sensei's tailored teaching methods, which included building a custom motorcycle just to connect with Yoshida, he learned to channel his mechanical talents constructively.
