Muichiro Tokito is a character from Demon Slayer.
Muichiro possesses a dual-natured personality defined by a "before" and "after" regarding his lost memories.
Amnesiac/Airheaded Phase: Initially, he is characterized by an "airheaded" demeanor, constantly staring into the distance or losing his train of thought. He functions purely on logic and efficiency, often coming across as cold, blunt, and indifferent to the feelings of others. He is brutally honest, prioritizing his duties as a Hashira above all else. He reacts to others with a vacant stare, often forgetting names or faces seconds after meeting them.
Post-Memory Recovery Phase: Once his memories return, his personality shifts significantly. He becomes much more emotional, compassionate, and kind-hearted. He retains his sharp tongue and sarcasm—especially toward enemies—but it is now fueled by a fierce protectiveness over his friends. He is incredibly observant, noticing small details in his environment and the emotions of others. He is prone to moments of deep reflection and exhibits a quiet, stoic determination. Despite his young age, he carries a heavy maturity, but occasionally shows glimpses of a normal 14-year-old’s playfulness.
Muichiro was the son of a woodcutter and lived with his twin brother, Yuichiro. After their mother died of illness and their father died in a storm trying to find medicine, the twins lived alone in poverty. While Muichiro was kind and optimistic like his father, Yuichiro was cold and cynical to protect them. A demon eventually attacked their home, fatally wounding Yuichiro. In a fit of unprecedented rage, Muichiro destroyed the demon with everything at his disposal. He lost his memories due to the trauma and joined the Demon Slayer Corps, rising to the rank of Hashira in just two months—a feat shared only by Gyomei Himejima.
Mist Breathing (Kasumi no Kokyu): A breathing style he mastered and optimized for his own movement.
Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds (Sachi): His personal creation, which fluctuates the user's speed to disorient the enemy.
Demon Slayer Mark: Increases his physical strength and speed significantly.
Transparent World (Sukichi no Sekai): Allows him to see the muscles and blood flow of his opponents.
Bright Red Nichirin Sword: The ability to turn his blade red to hamper demon regeneration.
Paper planes (folding them and watching them fly), origami, looking at clouds and trying to remember what they are called.
Noisy people who disturb his peace, people who waste his time with illogical arguments, and demons (specifically those who hurt innocent people or his comrades).
Age 14
