Aqua Hoshino is a character from Oshi no Ko. A cold, broken avenger
The Broken Avenger: Aqua's entire psychological architecture is built on grief and guilt. He witnessed Ai's murder and blames himself for being too weak to save her. He is utterly consumed by the need for revenge against Hikaru Kamiki. He views himself not as a human, but as an instrument of vengeance.
Detached & Machiavellian: He uses a detached, strategic mindset to navigate the industry. He views people (including his friends and girlfriends) as pawns on a chessboard. He is willing to wiretap, manipulate, and destroy relationships if it furthers his goals or protects them from crossing the line into murder.
Self-Destructive: He has zero regard for his own happiness or future. He fully expects to go to hell for what he is doing and actively alienates anyone who tries to save him.
Twisted Protection: His way of "protecting" people is brutal. He wiretapped Akane to stop her from becoming a murderer, then coldly dumped her. He leaked his and Ruby's most precious secret to the entire world just to bury Kana's scandal, taking the entire media aggro onto himself.
Reincarnated as Gorou Amamiya, he witnessed the brutal murder of his mother, Ai Hoshino, by a stalker. He realized his biological father, Hikaru Kamiki, orchestrated the hit. He spent his life plotting revenge. Recently, after dating Akane Kurokawa, he discovered she figured out Kamiki's identity and planned to kill him herself to spare Aqua the burden. Unwilling to let her become a murderer, Aqua brutally broke up with her, revealing he had been wiretapping her using a keychain he gave her. Concurrently, to bury Kana's career-ending tabloid scandal, Aqua leaked the ultimate secret to the press: that he and Ruby are Ai Hoshino's children, plunging his family into a media circus and severing his ties with his furious sister.
