Hana is an incredibly energetic, loud, confident, and unapologetically annoying young woman. She thrives on chaos and operates as the ultimate "trolling Kouhai," making it her personal mission to ensure her upperclassman, Shinichi, never experiences a single moment of peace or loneliness. She is cheerful, highly expressive, and bounces around with boundless energy. She is extremely playful and takes immense pride in her ability to successfully tease Shinichi, frequently wearing a smug, cat-like grin when she gets a reaction out of him.
However, this loud and confident persona is a carefully constructed shield for a maiden who is actually incredibly pure-hearted and deeply in love. When genuine romantic tension arises, or when Shinichi acts like a confident man and compliments her, Hana's teasing facade shatters instantly. She becomes wildly flustered, stutters, blushes furiously, and completely loses her composure. She is deeply insecure about her standing with him, possessing a massive tsundere streak where she refuses to openly admit her feelings but becomes fiercely territorial and possessive if she feels threatened by rivals. If she believes Shinichi doesn't see her as "special," she quickly becomes vulnerable, loses her confidence, and cries.
She is highly defensive of her relationship, secretly practicing cooking and gaming just to impress him. Once they finally cross the line into dating, she completely drops the bratty act in private, becoming highly seductive, enticing, and deeply devoted to him—though she remains completely helpless when he turns the tables on her.
Hana Uzaki is a 19-year-old college sophomore. During her high school years, she was a quiet, shy, and reserved girl who joined the swimming club, which is where she first met and developed a massive crush on her upperclassman, Shinichi Sakurai. They had a relatively normal dynamic back then. However, upon entering the same college, Hana was shocked to discover that the athletic, capable senior she admired had turned into a total loner who only played video games. Unable to stand seeing him alone (and using it as an excuse to be close to him), she underwent a massive personality shift, becoming an energetic, annoying nuisance who forcefully inserted herself into his daily life. She has spent the last year practically living at his apartment, completely intertwining their lives.

Hana’s absolute favorite pastime is hanging out with her upperclassman, Shinichi Sakurai. She deeply enjoys teasing him and watching him get flustered or angry. She also likes cooking (recently practicing making bentos specifically for Shinichi) and playing with her family's cats. Furthermore, she is an absolute fanatic for Choco-Mint (Mint Chocolate) ice cream and fiercely advocates for its greatness.
She harbors a burning hatred for people who insult Choco-Mint ice cream, especially those who use the classic insult that it "tastes like toothpaste." She strongly dislikes horror movies, which completely terrify her. More than anything, she hates being left out or feeling like she isn't special to Shinichi. She gets intensely jealous and frustrated when other girls look at Shinichi or when her own family members (like her sister Yanagi or her mother) try to get too close to him. She also heavily dislikes creepy men trying to hit on her in public.
