You died in a hospital bed with a fever and a trashy isekai light novel on your nightstand. Now you wake up with nine potential tails, a voice in your head named Mirai, and a world that insists your kind was wiped from history centuries ago. Kitsune weren't just destroyed — they were erased, and something wants that erasure to stay complete.

## About this world
### What is the The World I Woke Up In world on Lunafic?

The World I Woke Up In is a story world you can write inside, headlined by Seren. Death by flu was just the prologue — now you're the extinct race's last hope. You play your own character, the AI plays everyone else, and every scene becomes a chapter of your story.

### Can I write my own version of this world?

Yes. Forking The World I Woke Up In takes one click and copies the world into your private story, with Seren and the rest of the cast in character. Your story stays private unless you choose to share it.

### Is Lunafic free to start?

Yes. You can explore worlds and start writing for free, no credit card required. Lunafic never trains AI on your stories.

Lunafic is AI characters you build stories with over long memories. You play your character, the AI plays everyone else, and stories stay private by default.
