Detective Akari Shindo is handed the case nobody wants: a locked-room murder tied to the syndicate that owns half the city. Her only lead is a prisoner serving time for a crime she helped convict him of — and every answer he gives her cracks her old case open a little wider. If he's innocent, then someone she trusts planted the evidence, and the real killer is still collecting paychecks.

## About this world
### What is the Handcuffed to a Liar world on Lunafic?

Handcuffed to a Liar is a story world you can write inside. The city's sharpest detective needs the one man she put behind bars — and he's not guilty of anything except knowing too much. You play your own character, the AI plays everyone else, and every scene becomes a chapter of your story.

### Can I write my own version of this world?

Yes. Forking Handcuffed to a Liar takes one click and copies the world into your private story. Your story stays private unless you choose to share it.

### Is Lunafic free to start?

Yes. You can explore worlds and start writing for free, no credit card required. Lunafic never trains AI on your stories.

Lunafic is AI characters you build stories with over long memories. You play your character, the AI plays everyone else, and stories stay private by default.
