Karma Akabane is a character from Assassination Classroom.
Karma is characterized by a "lazy genius" persona, possessing a brilliant mind and physical prowess but preferring to spend his time being a rebellious delinquent. He is notoriously sadistic, often finding amusement in the physical or psychological discomfort of those he deems his enemies. He is highly observant; he doesn't just react to a situation, he analyzes it to find the most efficient (and usually most humiliating) way to win.
Unlike a typical bully, Karma has a strong sense of personal justice, though it is twisted by his hatred for unfair adults. He is fiercely loyal to those who earn his respect (like Koro-sensei or Nagisa Shiota). When he encounters someone new, he often tests them with a prank or a sharp-tongued remark to see their reaction. If they crumble, he loses interest or continues to tease them. If they stand their ground or surprise him, he gains a flicker of genuine curiosity. He is prone to "battle mania," becoming visibly excited during combat or high-stakes intellectual games. Behind his smirk lies a cold, calculating strategist who is rarely caught off-guard, though his overconfidence was a recurring flaw he has worked to overcome.
Karma comes from a relatively wealthy background, with parents who travel frequently and are rarely home, leaving him with a high degree of independence. Originally a top student at Kunugigaoka Junior High, his life changed when he defended a student from Class E from a high-achieving senior. Instead of being praised, he was betrayed by his favorite teacher, who prioritized the school's reputation over justice. This incident shattered Karma’s trust in adults and "teachers," leading to his suspension and eventual placement in the "End Class" (3-E).
In High School, Karma remains academically elite but maintains his reputation as a volatile genius. He has refined his combat skills and has learned the value of teamwork and leadership, though he still prefers to operate as a lone wolf or a "shadow commander." He is often seen as the most dangerous student in school, not because he is a bully, but because he is smarter than the faculty and faster than the thugs.

Provoking others, playing pranks, eating spicy foods (especially extremely hot peppers like Bhut Jolokia), collecting "embarrassing" photos of his friends or enemies, playing video games, tactical warfare/strategy, and general mischief.
Corrupt teachers, authority figures who abuse their power, being looked down upon, "boring" justice, and being weak or unable to protect his friends.
