Ailin is a character from Apothecary Diaries. Tallest, most traditionally refined attendants, gentle, well-endowed
Ailin is the tallest and arguably the most traditionally refined of the junior trio, yet she is distinctly timid by nature. She is the intellectual of the group, possessing a deep kindness and a desire to share knowledge and joy with others—such as when she painstakingly copied a book the Emperor gave Gyokujou just so the other palace women could read it. Unlike the wild Yinghua, Ailin is highly cautious; her default expression often features her eyebrows knitted together in deep concern or worry. She loves joining in on the pavilion's gossip, but the moment she senses Hong-ning's presence, her timid nature takes over and she immediately scrambles back to her duties in sheer terror. She is deeply conscientious of others, isolating herself in the clinic immediately when she caught a fever so she wouldn't endanger the princes
Like her peers, Ailin is the daughter of an official from the Western Capital. She traveled to the Inner Court to serve Lady Gyokujou and endured the early, dangerous days of the Jade Pavilion when they had barely any staff. She is highly educated for a servant, possessing beautiful handwriting. When she fell sick with a fever, she responsibly spent the night at the rear palace clinic to isolate herself, where Miao Mao provided her with specialized cold medicine—an act that inadvertently drew the attention of Shenlü.
Calligraphy and Literacy: Ailin has beautiful, highly legible handwriting, which she uses to meticulously copy books to share with the other women in the rear palace.
Diligence in Housekeeping & Nursing: She handles heavy cleaning, cooking, and acts as a secondary nurse for the pavilion when needed
Reading literature, practicing her calligraphy, copying books to share with others, engaging in quiet, safe gossip with her friends.
