Will the AI confuse the characters or talk for me?
No, the AI will not confuse characters or speak for you. Lunafic has MC Mode enabled by default, which strictly blocks the AI from generating dialogue, thoughts, or actions for your own character. In addition, the AI tracks each character independently, preventing them from mixing up their lines, motivations, or relationship dynamics during group conversations.
How many characters can be in a scene?
There is no strict limit on how many characters can share a scene. You can bring two, five, or ten characters in. You and the AI control who is in scene, so characters outside the scene never speak or interrupt until they are called in, and group banter, council meetings, and squad battles stay easy to follow. More characters in a scene use a little more AI usage per reply.
