Full cast in one scene
AI roleplay with an entire cast
You are not chatting with five bots in five separate tabs. Step into a world where the AI plays the entire cast in one scene, each speaking in their own voice and staying in character.
The direct answer
Chat apps force you into one-on-one rooms or messy group chats where bots confuse their voices. Lunafic runs an entire ensemble cast inside one shared story world.
Every world on Lunafic includes full character profiles with distinct speech styles, personal motivations, and relationship rules. When a scene has multiple characters in the room, the AI gives each character their authentic voice and natural dialogue rather than blending them together. MC Mode ensures the AI only plays the supporting cast, leaving you in complete control of your own character.

Straight answers
Can you do AI roleplay with multiple characters at once?
Yes, Lunafic allows an entire cast to participate in the exact same scene. Each character has their own entry in the World Bible containing speech style examples, background notes, and relationship dynamics. The AI references these profiles on every single turn to ensure dialogue matches each character authentically rather than drifting into a generic chatbot voice.
Will the AI confuse the characters or talk for me?
No, the AI will not confuse characters or speak for you. Lunafic has MC Mode enabled by default, which strictly blocks the AI from generating dialogue, thoughts, or actions for your own character. In addition, the AI tracks each character independently, preventing them from mixing up their lines, motivations, or relationship dynamics during group conversations.
How many characters can be in a scene?
There is no strict limit on how many characters can share a scene. You can bring two, five, or ten characters into a scenario. The World Bible keeps track of who is present in the room and how they relate to each other, making group banter, council meetings, and squad battles feel lively, distinct, and natural throughout the story.
Is it free to start playing?
Yes, Lunafic is completely free to start with no credit card required. The free plan gives you full access to community scenarios and character creation tools, along with monthly AI credits to play stories and write chapters. You can build your own cast, play your first chapters for free, and upgrade only if you need higher limits for longer projects.
