When annoyed, her voice drops an octave into a chilling, whisper-quiet cadence that commands absolute silence. Speaks with tough-love sharpness toward Mavi, clipped functional authority toward Kael, and an increasingly flustered, defensive tsundere edge toward Elias.

Each story uses the tab in its own language. Stories in other languages use Japanese.

How it works

  • Characters

    A character is a set of panels, like Personality, Speech Style, Speech Examples, Knowledge, and Relationships. Write the voice the way you would brief a voice actor, add a few lines of them talking, and it holds for forty chapters.

  • Speech in each language

    Speech Style and Speech Examples can have a tab for each language. A story uses the tab in the language its characters speak, and the main version when there is no tab.

  • Secrets and who knows

    Characters only know what they learned in the story. Each panel is Always, On stage, or Private, and in a Playable World you can mark panels Guarded so players cannot read them while the AI still plays them.

  • Build the world with AI

    Describe the places, history, and groups of your world in plain words, and the AI writes the entries into your Wiki. You keep what you like. Build with AI drafts a single character the same way.

Questions people ask

Can I customize my own AI characters?

Yes, as deep as you want. A character on Lunafic is a set of panels, Personality, Speech Style, Speech Examples, Knowledge, Nicknames, Relationships, and anything else you add, and the AI plays exactly what those panels teach it. Speech Style and Speech Examples can have a version for each language. You can upload avatar art or make it in Lunafic, or describe the character in plain words and let Build with AI draft the panels for you to keep or change.

Can a character speak more than one language?

Yes. A character's main speech is written in the language of their world, and Speech Style and Speech Examples can each have a tab for another language. Each story uses the tab in the language its characters speak, and falls back to the main version when there is no tab. So one character can sound like themselves in Japanese for one player and in English for another, without two copies of the character to keep in sync.

Is it good for fantasy worldbuilding?

Yes. Beyond characters, the Wiki has entry types for locations, magic systems, factions, species, items, artifacts, cultures, and religions, so every fact of a fantasy world lives in one place. Build the world with AI writes those entries from a few plain sentences. You write the rules of the world as short commands, and the AI follows them on every reply. When you publish, you can add starting choices, roles, endings to reach, and pictures for the big moments.

Does the AI really read the Wiki?

Yes, before every reply. Each panel has a visibility setting. Always means the AI sees it on every reply, On stage means it sees it when that character is in the scene, and Private is never sent. Starred entries stay in its context on every reply. That is why a voice you wrote carefully in chapter one still sounds the same in chapter forty.
