Do I have to roleplay to write here?
No. Author Mode works like traditional direction. You describe what happens next and the AI drafts the scene with every character included. Most writers switch between the two inside the same story, playing the quiet conversations and directing the big set pieces. Nothing about your story changes when you switch, so you can always choose per scene.
Can I bring a novel I already started?
